Symbolic of a production process that respects tradition, Fruité Noir is an oil with a slight bitterness and ardour. A smoothness that slowly reveals the characteristics of each of the four olive varieties that compose it. The Fruité Noir gracefully blends with salads and hard cheeses, but also with dishes that remind it of its Mediterranean origins. Thus, red mullets, anchovies, and other raw fish accompanied by their loyal companions will not decline an invitation to adorn themselves in their finest attire during their presentation.
Cornille Mill Black Fruity Olive Oil is a Protected Designation of Origin olive oil from the Vallée des Baux de Provence.
Produced by Moulin Cornille, located in Maussane-les-Alpilles, with utmost care and respect for a carefully preserved heritage.
Medals and rewards
The Moulin Cornille cooperative has been awarded for many years at the Concours Général Agricole for its exceptional Olive Oils. This competition is owned by the Ministry of Agriculture and rewards the best products from French terroirs. The Matured Fruité Noir Olive Oil from Moulin Cornille boasts no less than 17 medals, including 8 gold medals, in the last fifteen years.
