How to use flavoured olive oil ?
It would be very complicated to attribute a single recipe the use of a particular flavoured olive oil. In fact, it’s a question of taste, which can vary from one person to another. But here are a few suggestionsfor seasonal blends.
In summer, you can use flavoured oils with thyme and rosemary on meat, fish. or seasonal sun vegetables. Or even, a seasonal salad flavored with garlic, or a strawberry salad with basil and mint.
In winter, truffled oil would be ideal on mashed potatoes or in a mushroom velouté. Cooking papillote, use oil flavoured with lemon and thyme to marinade your fish. When preparing pizza, add the flavoured oil garlic at the end of cooking or in the preparation of dough. All year round, create lower in calories pastries with flavoured olive oils.
